Born in 1874 in sunny Westmoreland, Jamaica, James was the Great, Great Grandfather of our CEO, Peter Townsend. This guy was a true legend.
For 65 glorious years, James built a sweet empire, slinging sugar cane and molasses to every nook and cranny of Jamaica and beyond. Talk about spreading the love!
When James passed the torch to his son, Lopez, the family legacy only grew stronger. Lopez didn’t just expand the business; he became a local hero in Westmoreland, preaching peace and prosperity wherever he went.
